Advanced Air Mobility Initiative project tests multi-storey car park vertiport concept

The European Superior Air Mobility Initiative  challenge “AMI-FlyingIN2Air”, supported by the German Ministry for Digital and Transport, Airbus, Munich Airport Worldwide, amd.sigma, Goldbeck and Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt have designed and examined a digital multi-storey automotive park vertiport idea.

“This has generated an understanding how floor infrastructure may be built-in easily into passenger journey, contemplating an city integration context and certification wants,” says the consortium in a press launch. “The established idea of an elevated vertiport on prime of systemised multi-storey automotive park is a modular answer, able to be constructed.

“It will probably simply be tailored to different areas and serves as a constructing block for the combination of Superior Air Mobility in very completely different environments throughout the globe.
