The eleventh edition of Dronitaly, the only international event in Italy dedicated to the professional use of civil drones, is taking place from March 11-13, 2026, at the Ex GAM Pavilion in BolognaFiere.
Dronitaly has served as a reference point for the entire civil drones sector since 2014, translating research and innovation into concrete and applicable solutions. For over a decade, the event has promoted technological development and acted as a catalyst for collaboration and innovation, fostering business opportunities as well as dialogue among companies, institutions, research centers, and end-users.
Professionals, manufacturers, technology developers, and final operators will have the opportunity to discover advanced solutions, explore the latest innovations, and stay updated on the most recent regulatory changes.
The 2026 event will provide a comprehensive overview of the supply chain from components, and sensors to operating software.
The focus will extend to applications in the Aerial Operations segment, including environmental monitoring, search and rescue operations, and inspections, as well as projects in Advanced Air Mobility and Delivery. The 2026 focus will also cover data analysis software and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
This exhibition in March 2026 will serve as the final stop of a strategic roadmap offered for 2025-2026. This roadmap consists of two separate appointments designed to meet the diverse needs of the drone and advanced air-mobility ecosystem.
The approach is based on the conviction that collaboration between public and private stakeholders is key. Together, they can shape a future where advanced aerial technologies contribute safely, sustainably, and efficiently to societal and economic progress.
The preceding appointment on this roadmap was a special event held on September 16, 2025, at the ENEA Brasimone Research Centre. That event was promoted by the Emilia-Romagna Region in collaboration with ENEA, ASSORPAS, and BolognaFiere Water & Energy, and was designed to meet the practical needs of Public Administrations interested in integrating drones into their operational activities.
