In a Linkedin post Rachid Al Mani, CEO of Abu Dhabi based LODD Autonomous, reports that LODD has signed signed a major agreement with Emirates to advance the deployment of the Hili hybrid VTOL into future cargo operations.
“The signing was proudly witnessed by Sir Tim Clark, Bader Abbas and Dennis Lister, marking a strong endorsement from some of the most respected leaders in global aviation,” said the post. “This partnership is a milestone for a UAE-designed and engineered aircraft, and a significant step toward transforming the middle-mile logistics landscape.”
In early November LODD signed a deal with Etihad to develop air cargo services with the Hili hybrid eVTOL for the Abu Dhabi based carrier.
