The Hellenic Navy showcased the Alpha A900 unmanned helicopter system during the Oxi Day parade in Thessaloniki, where Alpha Unmanned Systems participated in the national celebration commemorating Greece’s historic resistance.
The Hellenic Navy, which is Alpha’s first NATO maritime customer, operates five of the Alpha A900 unmanned helicopters for critical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions across its fleet, with plans for further expansion of its deployment.
The A900 system is designed for reliability and versatility, acclaimed for a flight endurance of up to four hours and its capability to carry multiple payloads. It is equipped with a heavy-fuel engine and power redundancy to support operations in challenging environments, including maritime and border security tasks.
Key features of the A900 include real-time communication capability up to 100 km, GPS-denied navigation, and automatic take-off and landing from moving vessels. The compact design allows for quick deployment, while modular payload bays enable adaptation for diverse mission profiles. The A900 is recognized as a trusted solution for both defense and civilian applications, contributing to Greece’s innovation in unmanned aerial systems.
