In a Linkedin message, Sissel Thorstensen, head of the French delegation (AFNOR) to the ISO functioning team on vertiport criteria, ISO/TC 20/SC 17/WG 1– chaired by Jakub Wieczorkowski– provided an upgrade on the team’s progression in establishing ISO/CD 5491, a considerable worldwide requirement for vertiport framework, from formats to security areas, scalable for real-world tiny eVTOL procedures.
” In control with SC 16/WG 6, we’re straightening docking and user interface criteria throughout the drone/eVTOL community,” she reported. “At DragonFlyPads, we’re happy to add with our software application system– making it possible for blockchain-secured air-to-ground and ground network bookings, agnostic, self-governing, and completely integrable through APIs with UTM and NATO C2 systems … From draft to release: Assessing specialist input from Japan, China, Italy, France, and past– refining, straightening, and planning for smooth assimilation right into the worldwide airspace.”
