FLUX GmbH (FLUX), a designer and manufacturer of high-performance encoders, has launched the IND-MAX-100 Marine Grade inductive angle encoder, a new variant within the IND-MAX family designed specifically for naval and offshore environments.
The IND-MAX-100 features a housing made from marine-grade stainless steel, providing high resistance to corrosion and long-term saltwater immersion. Built for the harshest maritime conditions, it delivers reliable performance and precision where standard encoders cannot operate. The corrosion-proof design ensures dependable operation under prolonged exposure to seawater, making it suitable for ships, offshore platforms, subsea systems, and autonomous maritime vehicles.
With the addition of the IND-MAX-100, the IND-MAX series now offers greater flexibility for a wider range of integration needs across both marine and industrial applications.
Paul Tutzu, Managing Director & Founder of FLUX GmbH, commented, “Tailored for naval, offshore, and marine automation applications, the IND-MAX-100 reinforces FLUX’s commitment to delivering durable, high-performance sensing solutions for the world’s most demanding environments.
“Unlike optical and capacitive technologies, which can become unreliable in harsh conditions, the IND-MAX encoder series is designed to deliver superior performance and durability, exceeding the limits of existing technologies.”
The IND-MAX-100 extends the existing encoder family with a marine-grade option designed for long-term stability and precise measurement in challenging environments, further broadening the series’ applicability across critical motion control systems.
