Kate Devlin is Visitor in Expert System & Culture in the Division of Digital Liberal arts, King’s University London. She is an interdisciplinary computer system researcher exploring just how individuals engage with and respond to modern technologies, both previous and future. Kate is the writer of Switched on: Scientific Research, Sex and Robotics, which analyzes the moral and social effects of innovation and affection. She is Imaginative and Outreach lead for the UKRI Liable Expert system UK program– a global study and development environment for accountable AI.
