Professors and scientists throughout MIT’s Institution of Design obtain numerous honors in acknowledgment of their scholarship, solution, and total quality. The Institution of Design regularly identifies their accomplishments by highlighting the honors, rewards, and medals won by professors and study researchers operating in our scholastic divisions, laboratories, and facilities.

• Pulkit Agrawal in the Division of Electric Design and Computer technology obtained an IEEE 2024 Early Academic Career Award in Robotics and Automation on March 22.
• Jacob Andreas in the Division of Electric Design and Computer technology was called a Sloan Research Fellow on Feb. 29.
• Harry Asada in the Division of Mechanical Design obtained a National Science Foundation Convergence Accelerator Phase 1 Award on Feb. 8.
• Adam Belay in the Division of Electric Design and Computer technology was chosen to the National Academy of Engineering on Feb. 6.
• Sangeeta Bhatia in the Division of Electric Design and Computer technology was called a 2024 American Association of Cancer Research (AACR) Fellow on Jan. 1.
• Jacopo Buongiorno in the Division of Nuclear Scientific Research and Design was chosen to the National Academy of Engineering on Feb. 6.
• Yufeng Kevin Chen in the Division of Electric Design and Computer technology obtained the 2023 Bioinspiration & Biomimetics Steven Vogel Young Investigator Award on Jan. 31.
