Thales has been chosen by Lilium as the only real provider of navigation and communication antennas for the LiliumJet eVTOL. jet programme.
“The deliberate shipset for Lilium’s eVTOL fleet will embody an optimum mix of Industrial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and bespoke antennas,” says a Thales press launch. “These antennas embody VHF Com + GPS, Wi-Fi/LTE, ELT, GNSS, DME, VOR, LOC, Glideslope, UAT, and Transponder, guaranteeing seamless communication and navigation capabilities for Lilium’s progressive plane.
