YellowScan, a developer of integrated Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) LiDAR solutions, showcased its Navigator Bathymetric LiDAR system at the 5th edition of the Grande Exposition du Fabriqué en France, held at the Élysée Palace.
The Navigator system, designed for drone integration, reflects a strong commitment to collaborating with French technological partners, incorporating an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) from SBG Systems and other components produced by subcontractors in the Occitanie region. This was featured on November 15 and 16, 2025, in the “Strategic Sector of Maritime Industries” category, viewed by nearly 9,000 visitors.
YellowScan also displayed the Navigator mounted on the Hexadrone Tundra 2, a 100% French combination that is operationally used in Europe for coastal mapping missions. The company’s partner Delair, a drone manufacturer, was also present at the exhibition.
This exhibition, an initiative of French President Emmanuel Macron, celebrates the excellence and craftsmanship of French manufacturing, with only 123 companies selected by a national panel of experts out of over 2,500 applications.
During the opening ceremony, President Macron highlighted the values represented by the event, stating, “As you walk through these aisles, showcasing the best of our craftsmanship and professions, you are experiencing a France that produces, innovates, and shines.” He also emphasized France’s “industrial vitality” and the connection between “tradition and innovation” that fuels French ingenuity.
A highlight of the event for YellowScan was the meeting with President Macron. Tristan Allouis, CEO of YellowScan, recalled the moment, commenting, “Michel Assenbaum and I were delighted to discuss with the President how our product addresses environmental and coastal security challenges.”
Despite the highly competitive international market for topography and bathymetry, YellowScan has captured significant market share in Japan and the United States, positioning itself as a global leader in drone-based LiDAR solutions.
YellowScan offers a simplified user experience through optimized ergonomics for both LiDAR systems and digital applications, with its instruments built to last and customer support frequently praised for its speed and efficiency.
The strength of available skills and the national network of companies keep YellowScan at the forefront of innovation and maintain its global influence. The company’s presence at the exhibition honors their commitment to innovation and quality, contributing to the global reputation of “Made in France” in the field of high technology.
