2023–2024 El Niño triggered record-breaking sea level spike along African coastlines, study finds

Africa’s shorelines are under expanding hazard as water level climb up faster than ever before, driven by years of worldwide warming brought on by human task, all-natural environment cycles, and warming up sea waters. In between 2009 and 2024, the continent experienced a 73% boost in sea-level increase, according to a current research released in Communications Planet & Atmosphere.
