Returning to the moon is the key objective of NASA’s Artemis program, yet what do we do when we arrive? That is the difficulty dealt with by a team of pupils at the College of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, that created a proposition for a lunar framework component they call the Trans-lunar Center for Expedition, ISRU, and Innovation– or THEIA, after the suggested item that collapsed right into the Planet that developed the moon as we understand it today.
