A triad of excavators from the College of Barcelona and the College of Castilla-La Mancha, both in Spain, and the National Institute of Archaeology and Heritage in Morocco have actually found 3 old burial grounds on the Tangier Peninsula. In their research, released in the journal African Archaeological Evaluation, Hamza Benattia, Jorge Onrubia-Pintado and Youssef Bokbot performed fieldwork on the peninsula.
