Reflecting its long-term dedication to Africa’s future, Australian mining firms have invested about $60-billion into Africa. Talking at this 12 months’s Africa Down Underneath convention, on September 4, Australia Commonwealth International Affairs Assistant Minister Tim Watts defined that such investments supplied jobs, coaching, experience, alternatives and new infrastructure, delivering important advantages to native communities.
