Brain cells mature faster in space but stay healthy: ISS study

Microgravity is recognized to change the muscular tissues, bones, the body immune system and cognition, yet little is learnt about its details effect on the mind. To find just how mind cells reply to microgravity, Scripps Research study researchers, in cooperation with the New york city Stem Cell Structure, sent out little globs of stem-cell acquired mind cells called “organoids” to the International Spaceport Station (ISS).
