Breathing may introduce microplastics to the brain—new study

Little plastic fragments are anywhere: in the dirt where our food is expanded, in the water we consume and airborne we take a breath. They arrived from the plastic we discard, which winds up in land fill websites, rivers and seas. There the plastic waste gradually damages down, launching small fragments called microplastics and also tinier nanoplastics right into the atmosphere.
