A research study group led by Affiliate Teacher Wang Yaqiong from the Nanjing Institute of Geology and Paleontology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (NIGPAS), in cooperation with associates from several residential and global establishments, has for the very first time recorded 2 aquatic ostracod fossil types– Bicornucythere bisanensis s.l. and Pistocythereis bradyformis– in Pleistocene lacustrine down payments of the Qaidam Container. The searchings for were lately released in the journal Palaeoentomology.
