Robots can now walk through muddy and slippery terrain, thanks to moose-like feet

Roboticists on the Tallinn College of Expertise (TalTech) have developed a brand new class of bio-inspired ft that considerably improve robotic mobility on difficult terrains like mud and moist snow. The findings, revealed in Bioinspiration & Biomimetics, may broaden the capabilities of robots, permitting them to navigate in advanced pure terrains to conduct delicate environmental monitoring, help in agriculture and take part in catastrophe response.
