To properly take on a selection of real-world jobs, robotics must have the ability to dependably understand items of various forms, appearances and dimensions, without dropping them in unwanted areas. Traditional strategies to improving the capability of robotics to understand items function by tightening up the hold of a robot hand to stop items from sliding.
