Silicon, light weight aluminum and lithium are one of the most essential resources in the world. Their shortage and the intricacy of removing them can impede the growth of modern technologies that are crucial to the eco-friendly change. This is just one of the major final thoughts of a research study by the INGENIO Institute, a joint facility of the Spanish National Study Council (CSIC) and the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), in cooperation with the College of Rome, the Universitat de València and the College of London.
