Soft robots mimic mantis shrimp’s punch and flea’s leap for added power

A study group has actually taken ideas from concepts located in nature and established the “hyperelastic torque turnaround system” (HeTRM), which allows robotics made from rubber-like soft products to execute fast and effective motions. This research is released in Scientific research Robotics, and the scientists were led by Teacher Kyu-Jin Cho from Seoul National College’s Division of Mechanical Design.
