Complying with the seismic task that took place at the Kakula copper mine, in the Autonomous Republic of Congo, in May, Kamoa-Kakula’s design group applied a three-stage strategy to dewater the mine, of which Phase 2 is anticipated to begin “imminently”, TSX- and OTCQX-listed Ivanhoe Mines disclosed in a functional upgrade released on August 25. Phase 1 dewatering tasks to secure and preserve present water degrees were finished on June 2.
