Study uncovers how silkworm moth’s odor detection may improve robotics

The silkworm moth (Bombyx mori) is an insect that now not flies attributable to domestication. The males use their antennae to detect pheromones emitted by females and reply very acutely, and have been used as mannequin bugs for the research of their odor supply localization.
