Submit a technical paper abstract for Transformative Vertical Flight 2026 no later than Sept. 5, 2025.! Papers describing design challenges of electric VTOL for advanced and urban air mobility (AAM/UAM), and planetary rotorcraft are of notable interest. Please consult the Call for Papers for more details.
VFS supports multiple initiatives to advance hydrogen-electric fuel cell aviation for new eVTOL and eCTOL/eSTOL aircraft applications. In May 2020, VFS founded the H2eVTOL Council, which was spun off into the non-profit HYSKY Society. In January 2022, VFS created the H2-Aero Team to develop a white paper for a Multimodal Hydrogen Airport Hub.
VFS has launched a convenient new resource page that catalogs years worth of white papers, regulations, reference documents and reports related to AAM, eVTOL, eCTOL and other electric or hydrogen powered aircraft! Check it out!
Our 19th Annual Electric Aircraft Symposium (EAS 2025) was a big success this weekend with 150 in-person and virtual attendees ahead of AirVenture Wisconsin, Oshkosh!

EAS is the premier annual electric VTOL / STOL / CTOL and AAM symposium at AirVenture. This year’s EAS showcased more than three dozen speakers, including executives from AeroTEC, AIR EV, Ampaire, BETA Technologies, BLOOMY, Bosch, Bye Aerospace, Electra.aero, Electro.Aero, Evolito, Frasca, H2FLY, H55, Horizon, Hydroplane, magniX, Samson Sky, Skyfly, VerdeGo Aero, VoltAero, Wisk Aero and XTI.
