Manta Aircraft Sets Sights on Hybrid-Electric Future
VFS supports multiple initiatives to advance hydrogen-electric fuel cell aviation for new eVTOL and eCTOL/eSTOL aircraft applications. In May 2020, VFS founded the H2eVTOL Council, which was spun off into the non-profit HYSKY Society. In January 2022, VFS created the H2-Aero Team to develop a white paper for a Multimodal Hydrogen Airport Hub.

TVF2025 comprised three events: the 11th Biennial Autonomous VTOL Technical Meeting, the 12th Annual Electric VTOL Symposium and the Short Course on Electric VTOL. TVF 2025 was supported by the VFS Arizona Chapter and was held at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, Arizona, USA.
TVF 2025 included two dozen technical papers/presentations on autonomy, VIP government leaders, a full day of plenary speakers on autonomous and electric VTOL, and the traditional “Titans of Autonomy” panel — with 60+ speakers from government and industry on electric VTOL, including leaders from top eVTOL companies like Archer, Joby, Beta, Elroy, Piasecki, Pivotal, SkyDrive, Unither Bioelectronics, Wisk and dozens more!
